An annual tradition of the Greenville Federal Teammates Christmas celebration is to ‘Bring to Give’ food and items for the FISH Choice Pantry.

This year’s collection was 60 pounds over last year’s total. Items such as paper towels, diapers and personal items were also part of the collection.

Giving back to the community has long been a trademark of Greenville Federal as well as the employees that volunteer for various community boards, committees and community events.

Kristy Cutarelli, Director of Fish Choice Pantry reports:

“The Fish Choice Pantry has served 2093 households or 5,776 individuals through the Choice Pantry up to the end of Nov. 2017 and we have delivered food to 241 families through our Home Delivery program.  As our overall numbers have reduced a bit from last year, our number of clients over the age of 65 has increased significantly.  Unfortunately donations to our food bank have also decreased over the past few years with 2017 being the lowest since 2009 when our annual Feed Darke County food drive began.  We are very appreciative of any and all donations made to our pantry during the annual food drive and throughout the year.  2017 is our 50th year serving the people of Greenville and Darke County. We would not be able to continue to serve our community without the generosity and support we receive from so many businesses, organizations, schools, churches and individuals.  If you are interested in making a donation or learning how to serve with us contact Kristy at 316-8420 or fishchoicepantry@gmail.com.”

Greenville Federal encourages everyone to ‘Bank Local – Buy Local’ and Donate whenever you can to our local communities.
